About Us
Our real estate investment company is run primarily by two individuals: Robert Orland and Arvana Robinson. We are in turn backed up by a strong “power team” of business, legal and financial consultants.
Robert Orland
Robert brings a solid background in real estate to the investment team. He has owned and managed numerous properties in Ontario. He acts as a land management consultant for multiple conservation groups, and is skilled in creative negotiation.
A long-time member of the Enlightened Millionaires Institute, Robert is well-versed in a wide variety of real estate strategies that he has developed with the ongoing help of his mentors and peers.
Arvana Robinson
With a degree in mechanical engineering and a lifetime of experience in home renovations, Arvana leads the “home improvement” side of the group. By carefully selecting houses that can be inexpensively renovated, he and his team are able to greatly improve their value, either for resale or as income properties.
Arvana is also passionate about using the most environmentally-conscious building materials available, and making informed decisions to screen for socially responsible products.
Our ‘Power Team’
Beyond our core partnership, we are solidly supported by our power team of professional advisors and consultants.
First, we retain an exceptional accountant. Half of real estate investing is relationships and negotiations; the other half comes down to the numbers. Ensuring we are taking full advantage of our legal tax deductions is his job.
Our insurance broker is another vital element of our team. As we are repeat customers, he works with us to find the best possible premiums and gives great advice on our options for coverage.
Each of the cities in which we work also has the following:
- Realtor — not just any realtor, but one that understands what we as savvy investors are looking for. Our realtors are strong, creative negotiators and are well connected in their field.
- Real estate lawyer — our lawyers specialize in real estate and are each intimately familiar with the local by-laws.
- Mortgage broker — who is well connected with the local lending institutions and always gets us the lowest interest rate.
- Property inspector — who is thorough, knowledgeable, reliable and gives us an informed second opinion of the quality of a house.
